Guildford Spectrum run group 'Skate UK' Learn to skate courses throughout school term time for both Children (aged +3 years) and Adults. Courses normally run for 12-13 weeks.

Childrens courses are suitable for those aged 5-16 years.Ice Pup courses are for children aged between 3-5 years. The Ice Pup beginners courses are suitable for those who have never skated before. The 3 Star Plus course is for Ice Pups who can move on the ice unaided.

Skate UK is the National Ice Skating Association's flagship learn-to-skate programme for beginners of all ages that teaches fundamental movements and basic skills. The programme is set up in ten stages. The Skate UK programme emphasises fun and continuous movement and is taught in a group lesson format. (skate UK levels)

Once skaters have completed Level 10 of the SKATE UK Programme, they will move to the SKATE UK "STAR" programme. SKATE UK "STAR" consists of three levels, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. (details)
